Come visit Gibbs Honey for an immersive tour of our home apiary, hives, honey house and wildflower meadows. This experience includes opening a hive.

Our guided experiences are led by an expert beekeeper and involve:

• Vieiwng the dance of the bees
• Queen spotting
• Finding eggs
• Using a smoker
• Getting a glimpse into the intricate workings of a hive

From hearing the hum of the hive to delicately handling frames, each moment with our bees is an adventure in harmony with nature.

This hands-on experience is the perfect event for friends weekends, team building, or as a part of your visit to the beautiful Vankleek Hill area. We're located a scenic one hour drive from Ottawa, Montreal or Cornwall.

Tour lasts approximately 1 hr. Maximum group size of 10.

Once you've selected your date, we'll contact you to coordinate all the details. 

Protective equipment will be provided, but please wear long pants and closed toe shoes. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Suitable for ages 5+.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration upto 48hrs in advance for refund or rescheduled date if available. Tours will be rescheduled or refunded in the case of inclement weather of minimum number of 2 participants not met.
